Interior Designer

Dunbar Road is excited to have another experienced designer join our team! We are looking for a designer with an interior design degree or professional interior design experience to work on various residential projects. This job includes responsibilities such as design/scheming, project management, interfacing with subcontractors as needed, and assisting with client's needs and requests. Ideally the candidate is experienced and can bring their knowledge of the industry, interior design principles and experience with timeline and management.

 Responsibilities include:

 -Source fabrics, furnishings, fixtures reflective of the company and project

 -Scheme and create design presentations

 -Manage an effective and efficient project timeline

 -Procure quotes, orders, invoices, etc.

 -Create schedules (paint, hardware, etc.) as needed

 -Design floorplans with AutoCAD

 -Create and manage sub contractor orders and timelines

 -Travel as needed

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 - interior design degree preferred

 -knowledge of AutoCAD preferred

 -knowledge of Studio IT software preferred

 -excellent communication skills

 -exceptional organizational skills

 -able to effectively manage time/schedules/tasks on concurrent projects

 -highly detail oriented and a self starter is necessary
