Store Hardware Support - to assist with the staging / imaging of our new POS system, and mobile devices.
Responsibilities
· Maintains, monitors, and tracks all new and refurbished equipment, evaluates and repairs equipment as necessary by performing the following main duties:
· Verifies store equipment is prepared and ready to be shipped out daily based on SLAs.
· Images and Stages POS equipment according to documented processes and business requirements
· Monitors electronic movement of IT hardware inventory using Peoplesoft as well as the physical movement of equipment throughout the DC.
· Performs all warranty services, testing and repairs for store hardware including but not limited to tablets, mobile handheld devices, printers, receipt printers, scanners, POS, Computers, etc.
· Researches and investigates inventory inaccuracies and unreturned hardware equipment to keep control of all hardware assets.
Required Education and/or Experience
· High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1 - 2 years experience with applied PC repair experience in Help Desk or Service Center focusing mainly on IT hardware testing and/or IT inventory control
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. As well as windows command prompt and an email program.
