Research Professional: Marketing
Professor Andreas Kraft is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work as full-time Research Professional for a period of at least one year, but ideally two years. The preferred start date is July 1, 2025, but the exact date is flexible. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; the initial full review will be March 1, 2025.
The job will entail close collaboration on a number of new and ongoing projects in Quantitative Marketing. Previous holders of this position have gone onto Ph.D. programs at top universities.
Primary responsibilities include: (a) Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing complex data; (b) writing up results for inclusion in presentations and publications; (c) performing literature reviews and compiling citations; and (d) assisting faculty to identify, assess, and organize information addressing research goals. The position will primarily, but not exclusively, focus on topics related to Quantitative Marketing (with a focus on applying behavioral economics to firm problems).
Knowledge, skills, and experience include: (a) Bachelor's degree required on start date, (b) interest in research of Quantitiative Marketing or Behavioral Economics / Industrial Organization, (c) computer skills (strong skills with statistical packages and programming), (d) some experience designing and launching experiments, (e) ability to work independently to solve problems, and (f) long-term interest in pursuing research in Quantitative Marketing or Behavioral Economics.
