The Saunteel Jenkins for Detroit Mayor campaign is looking for an eager applicant to join our growing team. We are seeking a calltime manager, scheduler, and body person.

Salary: $3,500 - $4,000 per month, commensurate on experience
Description
Saunteel Jenkins for Detroit is hiring a talented and driven individual to manage the candidate’s calendar, call time, and staff the candidate at events for her 2025 mayoral race. The Call Time Manager will report directly to the Campaign Manager and will work closely with the fundraising staff. This is a full-time position, and will be based in Detroit, Michigan.

Duties and Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

• Build a robust donor research and call time program for candidate fundraising and political call time. Research prospective donors. 
• Staff the candidate in person at fundraising events in-person and virtually.
• Staff the candidate’s call time sessions, virtually and in person, including preparation, notetaking, and follow up.
• Manage the candidate’s schedule, and work with the Campaign Manager to strategically schedule the candidate's time. Prepare memos, briefing documents, and other materials for the
  candidate and team.
• Assist finance and campaign staff with additional duties as needed.

Qualified applicants should have the following attributes:

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail.
• At least one cycle of fundraising experience is preferred, although entry-level applicants are welcome.
• Knowledge and ties to the City of Detroit.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to drive the candidate to and from events with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work at a fast-pace, with often irregular and weekend hours.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Candidates must have a commitment to equity, inclusivity, diversity, and progressive values.

Additional sought after skills and qualities may include:

• Computer and database skills, including Google Drive and Google Suite, NGPVAN, Numero, or other CRM database experience.
• Willingness to learn and ask questions.
• Passion and desire to elect the first woman Mayor of the City of Detroit!
